Psychological & Mental Health Assessments in Calgary

Waiting a year or more for answers shouldn't be the only option. When something's affecting school, work, or daily life, and you don't know why, every month spent waiting is a month spent guessing.

At CPC Clinics, most psychological assessments in Calgary start within 2 to 4 weeks. We're one of the only Calgary clinics that tells you a real number upfront. Whether you need clarity on ADHD, autism, learning differences, or something harder to name, a mental health assessment in Calgary gives you real answers instead of more questions.

What to Expect

Every psychological assessment in Calgary follows the same three-part structure. Intake and feedback sessions can be done virtually. Testing itself happens in person, since it requires standardized, supervised conditions.

01

Intake

We map your history, your concerns, and what you need the assessment to answer, so the testing plan is built around your actual question. Can be done virtually.

02

Testing

Standardized testing happens in person at the clinic, under the supervised conditions the measures require. Your psychologist walks you through the timeline before you begin.

03

Feedback

You receive a full written report and a feedback session to go through the results together, with clear next steps rather than a document you have to decode alone. Can be done virtually.

We're open seven days a week, including evenings.

Why Choose Us?

Your care plan is shaped around what's happening in your life, session by session.

Our team holds Master's and Doctorate-level degrees, trained in CBT, EMDR, and the Gottman Method.

Every appointment, whether in person or online, stays private between you and your therapist.

You set the pace. We listen first, and we stay with you through every session.

Common Questions

Most assessments don't require a referral. You can reach out directly to get started. Some assessment types, like PN7 and PN8 court-ordered evaluations, do require a referral from a lawyer or the court.

Many extended health plans cover some or all of the cost, though coverage varies by provider and plan. We provide a detailed receipt you can submit for reimbursement, and direct billing is available for many providers.

Every mental health assessment in Calgary runs on its own timeline. A psychoeducational assessment typically takes 12 to 13 hours across intake, testing, and feedback. An ADHD assessment usually takes 7 to 8 hours. Your psychologist walks you through the specific timeline before you begin.
