What Zarrin Works With Most
Focused, evidence-based support for patterns that make everyday life harder than it needs to be.
ADHD in Children, Teens and Adults
Sessions build practical strategies for focus, routine, and daily follow-through.
Zarrin also works with parents who want to understand what their child is experiencing.
OCD and Mood Disorders
OCD work uses structured CBT for intrusive thoughts and rituals.
Mood work covers depression and the highs and lows of bipolar I and II. Zarrin is CPC's only rTMS provider, for depression that hasn't improved with other treatments. rTMS runs in person in Calgary, for adults aged 20 and up.
Dependency and Unhealthy Behaviours
This work targets process dependencies and patterns that keep returning.
The pace is yours, and the approach is informed by harm reduction.
Zarrin also provides grief counselling, couples counselling, family counselling, and parenting support. She offers anxiety therapy, PTSD and trauma treatment, Women in Transition counselling, and infertility counselling. She also provides youth counselling, sports psychology, and virtual therapy, and supports chronic illness and pain. She delivers 2 REVIVE programs, Executive Reset and Competitive Edge. She also runs Workshop for Teachers.

Neurodiversity Support
Zarrin provides therapy support for neurodivergent clients and the families around them.
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- ADHD, including inattentive, hyperactive-impulsive, and combined presentations
- Personalised strategies and psychoeducation for clients and their families
- OCD therapy using CBT
Zarrin does not provide assessments. Dr. Sebastian Saint leads ADHD assessments, and Heidi Bernard leads ASD assessments.

Therapy works best when the approach feels clear, collaborative, and grounded in what matters to you.
See If Zarrin Is Right for YouYou suspect ADHD, or have a diagnosis, and want strategies that hold up daily.
Intrusive thoughts or rituals shape your routine, and you want a structured plan.
A habit or dependency keeps returning despite real effort to stop.
You want a psychologist who can work in Bengali, Hindi, or Urdu.
You want someone who understands immigrant and multigenerational family dynamics.
You want practical tools, not only a space to talk.
How I Work
We choose the methods that fit your goals, then keep checking that the work is useful outside the therapy room.
Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT)
We start from what already works in your life and build on it.
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
Skills for hard moments, including intense emotion, distress, and impulse control.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
We find the thought pattern behind a reaction, then test it.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
You make room for hard feelings while still acting on what matters.
Mindfulness practices
Simple attention tools you can use between sessions.
Trauma counselling
We work through painful experiences at a pace that keeps you steady.
Narrative therapy
You retell your story so the problem stops defining you.
Group therapy
You work on a shared concern alongside others with a similar goal.
Motivational Interviewing (MI)
We work through mixed feelings about change at your pace.
As Clinical Director, Zarrin provides clinical oversight and case consultation across all therapeutic approaches offered at CPC.
Confidential. Compassionate. Evidence-informed.
